Who uses TrustRadius
Vendors that sell software or hardware to businesses, with a generally available product that fits an existing TrustRadius category. Reviewers sign in with LinkedIn or a work email and are checked for recent experience with the product; current and former employees of the vendor, and employees of its competitors, are excluded.
Claim your profile
- Start on the claim-your-profile page to claim an existing profile or request a listing, after reading the vendor submission requirements.
- TrustRadius offers a free profile as well as a premium tier.
- The person who requests access becomes the profile administrator and must validate a personal work email on the company domain; role-based addresses and public email domains are not accepted.
- TrustRadius lists company requirements such as a LinkedIn company page, a generally available product sold to businesses, at least 100 customers, and a fit with an existing category.
- Agencies or PR firms can be co-administrators only after a validated vendor employee has registered and sent written approval to the vendors team.
- Other vendor questions go to the vendors team by email.
Replying to reviews
Vendors and other community members can comment on a review. Comments require authentication, and a vendor comment requires a public profile.
- TrustRadius says there is no charge for a vendor to list a product, drive reviews, or respond to reviews of its own products.
- Vendor staff may not comment on reviews of competitors' products.
- Vendors cannot edit or remove reviews.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Reviewers authenticate through LinkedIn or a work email, and TrustRadius staff check that each reviewer has recent experience with the product before a review is published.
- Current and former employees of the vendor, and employees of its competitors, are excluded from reviewing that vendor's products.
- Resellers can review, but their ratings are excluded from the trScore.
- TrustRadius says it never removes authentic reviews, and it rejects reviews it believes are fraudulent or below its quality standards.
- Incentives for writing a review are allowed and disclosed on the review, but they may never depend on the rating or wording, and reviews driven by such incentives are not published.
Reporting a review
TrustRadius's own process, step by step.
- TrustRadius's contact page lists no dedicated channel for reporting a problem with a specific review.
- The closest listed options are the vendors team by email for vendors and the support team by email for buyers and reviewers.
Tips
- Keep the product profile accurate, with current features, integrations, and pricing.
- Respond to reviews with a calm tone, acknowledge the feedback, and offer constructive next steps.
- Invite customers broadly to review rather than selecting those likely to be satisfied.
- Never tie a thank-you gift or other incentive to a positive rating or particular wording.
