Who uses ProvenExpert
Service providers and companies that want to gather and display customer reviews, from sole traders to larger firms, plus the customers and business partners they invite to rate them. Plans range from FREE to BASIC, PLUS and PREMIUM, with an enterprise option.
Claim your profile
- There is no existing listing to claim: ProvenExpert says each profile is created by its owner, so you start by registering an account and creating a profile.
- New accounts get a 30-day PREMIUM trial that ends on its own; afterwards you choose the FREE, BASIC, PLUS or PREMIUM plan.
- An industry-specific survey is ready under Surveys after registration; invite customers by email, a survey link, a QR code or an access code.
- To make the profile public, go to Administration > Settings, open Privacy and click Publish Profile.
- In the same privacy settings you can show or hide the Submit a Review button, or require your approval or an access code before someone can rate you.
Replying to reviews
In your account, go to Profile & Reviews, scroll to the review and click View Review. From there, under Comment, the profile owner can leave a statement on the review at any time.
- If the reviewer agreed to be contacted, the owner can also email them from the review.
- Ask reviewer to make a change opens a contact form you can send to request a revision, for example after a problem has been resolved.
- The private dialogue with a reviewer cannot be published on the profile.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Reviewers must actually have used the product or service and confirm this when they submit feedback.
- Reviewers may stay anonymous, but false or misleading personal details and fake identities are prohibited.
- Defamatory content, calls to violence, racist or sexist statements, propaganda, advertising and other people's personal details without consent are not allowed.
- Feedback must be confirmed by email, a social network account or a ProvenExpert account unless the owner sent the invitation; unconfirmed feedback is not passed on or published, and throwaway email addresses are refused.
- Each person may take part in a given survey only once, and profile owners may not take part in their own surveys.
- New reviews are not published automatically: the owner publishes them. If a review is left unpublished for 72 hours, the profile and rating seal stop showing the overall score, stars and recommendation rate.
- ProvenExpert says it may block or delete reviews at any time, mainly when they break the guidelines, and may remove feedback or profiles suspected of manipulation.
Reporting a review
ProvenExpert's own process, step by step.
- Go to Profile & Reviews in your account, scroll to the review, click View rating and choose Report review.
- The support team checks every reported review and deletes it if it breaks the guidelines, contains insults, violates data protection rules, or the reviewer demonstrably never used your service. Evidence of the suspicion helps the check.
- On the BASIC, PLUS and PREMIUM plans an arbitration procedure is available: after a report, the reviewer (if they consented to contact) is asked for proof of the service, and the review is removed if they cannot provide it.
- Arbitration covers only reviews collected through ProvenExpert, not reviews imported from other sites.
- Third parties can report a review from the public profile, and the support team can be reached at support@provenexpert.com.
Tips
- Publish every review, good or bad, so your score and stars stay visible and your profile stays credible.
- Invite all of your customers, not only those you expect to be happy.
- Reply to critical reviews with a calm comment that explains what you did to fix the issue.
- Keep proof of the service you provided so you can respond quickly if a review is disputed.
