Who uses HubSpot App Marketplace
Software companies in HubSpot's Technology Partner Program that build apps for HubSpot customers. Reviewers must be actual customers who bought or used a full version and are logged in; free-trial users, HubSpot employees and the provider's affiliates or employees cannot review.
Claim your profile
- There is no claim process: the app's developer builds the listing in its app developer account and agrees to HubSpot's Technology Partner Program Agreement.
- To be listed, the app must have at least three active, unique installs in production accounts not affiliated with the developer, and must use OAuth as its only authorization method.
- The listing needs a public setup guide, a working install button, support contacts, terms of service and privacy policy links, pricing that matches the developer's website and a shared data table.
- The HubSpot Ecosystem Quality team reviews each submission manually, with an initial review within 10 business days. Only one app can be in review at a time.
Replying to reviews
In the HubSpot account, go to Development, open App (or Agent, Theme or Module) Listings, hover over the listing, click More, select View listing details, open the Customer Feedback tab, click Reply beneath the review, enter the reply and click Send.
- Listing creators can leave up to two replies on a review, and customers cannot respond to those replies on the listing.
- Replies are emailed to the customer and posted on the public listing page.
- HubSpot's policy asks providers to respond to reviews in a respectful manner.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Reviews must be truthful and submitted in good faith, with one review per offering unless a later review reflects a real change in circumstances.
- Providers, or anyone acting for them, may not review their own products, may not use a customer account to write or change a review, and may not review a competitor's product unless the relationship is disclosed.
- Providers may not offer compensation of any kind for a review, including through review-selling services, and may not retaliate against customers who post reviews.
- HubSpot sends customers a review request 30 days after they install an app, and providers can add follow-up reminders, a website embed or a direct review link from the Customer Feedback tab.
- HubSpot may edit, remove or decline to post any review at its discretion, but does not remove a review simply because it is negative.
Reporting a review
HubSpot App Marketplace's own process, step by step.
- Open the review on the listing's Customer Feedback tab (same steps as replying) and click Report at the bottom of the review.
- Report reviews or replies that are offensive, profane or violate HubSpot's review guidelines. HubSpot reviews the request within ten business days.
- If the review is removed, both the provider and the customer are notified, and the customer can leave a new review.
- HubSpot prohibits using the report function for competitive purposes.
Tips
- Turn on review reminders or share the review link from the Customer Feedback tab so more customers leave reviews.
- Reply to negative reviews; HubSpot's certification requirements ask for team responses to negative reviews.
- Never offer a reward for a review or write reviews from a customer's account.
- Report only reviews that are offensive, profane or against the review guidelines.

About the numbers
- AI citations: the share of answers from AI assistants that cite a page on ecosystem.hubspot.com, out of 23,227 answers in the last 90 days, to questions about the businesses in our directory ("what do customers say about ...") and to category questions ("best dentist in ..."). Search-result and help pages on a review site are not counted. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Cited by AI, by industry: for each industry (a directory category, or the national brands filed under an industry such as e-commerce), the share of AI answers about businesses in that industry that cite a page on ecosystem.hubspot.com; n is the number of answers in that industry (last 90 days; only industries with at least 20 answers). As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Site reach: the estimated monthly organic search visits to ecosystem.hubspot.com (DataForSEO Labs). These are third-party estimates for the whole domain, not figures from HubSpot App Marketplace. As of October 2026. ↩
