Who uses Google Workspace Marketplace
Companies that publish an app or add-on for Google Workspace, from small add-ons to integrations of large software products. Reviews are about the app, written by users who installed it or whose administrator installed it.
Claim your profile
- There is no claim process for an existing listing. A listing is created and managed by the developer through the app's Google Cloud project and the Google Workspace Marketplace SDK.
- To publish, create or reuse a Google Cloud project, configure OAuth consent, enable and configure the Marketplace SDK, create a store listing and submit it.
- Public apps are reviewed by Google before they appear in the Marketplace. Private apps are only for the developer's own Workspace organization and are available right away.
- The public or private setting cannot be changed after the app is published.
- To give someone access to the app listing, add them to the Google Cloud project.
Replying to reviews
Open the app listing in the Marketplace, select the Reviews tab, click Reply to this review under the review, write the reply and click Submit reply.
- Only the app's developer can reply to a review, and replies are public.
- Replying requires the Admin or Writer basic role on the app's Google Cloud project.
- Replies can be up to 2,500 characters.
- The review guidelines also apply to replies: no advertising, phone numbers, email addresses or links to other websites, no personal information, harassment or impersonation.
- Replies that break the policies are removed, and repeated or extreme abuse can lead to a ban on leaving replies.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- A person can review only apps that they or their administrator installed, and a review cannot be anonymous.
- Reviews can have up to 2,500 characters and are public.
- Reviews must reflect a real experience; fake, spammy or duplicate reviews and reviews posted from several accounts are not allowed.
- Owners and employees of the company that made the app should not review it, and paying for or accepting payment for reviews is not allowed.
- Reviews may not include phone numbers, email addresses, links to other websites, personal information, impersonation, harassment or offensive content. Reviews that break the policies are removed.
Reporting a review
Google Workspace Marketplace's own process, step by step.
- Sign in to the Marketplace, open the app and go to Reviews.
- Next to the review, open the More menu (three dots), select Report review, pick a reason and select Done.
- Google does not publish what happens after a report or an appeal process.
Tips
- Check that the people who answer reviews have the Admin or Writer role on the app's Google Cloud project.
- Keep replies on topic and leave out phone numbers, email addresses and links, which are not allowed in replies.
- Keep the store listing's support, help and report-issue links current so users have somewhere to go besides a review.
- Do not ask employees to review the app and never pay for reviews.

About the numbers
- AI citations: the share of answers from AI assistants that cite a page on workspace.google.com, out of 23,227 answers in the last 90 days, to questions about the businesses in our directory ("what do customers say about ...") and to category questions ("best dentist in ..."). Search-result and help pages on a review site are not counted. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Cited by AI, by industry: for each industry (a directory category, or the national brands filed under an industry such as e-commerce), the share of AI answers about businesses in that industry that cite a page on workspace.google.com; n is the number of answers in that industry (last 90 days; only industries with at least 20 answers). As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Site reach: the estimated monthly organic search visits to workspace.google.com (DataForSEO Labs). These are third-party estimates for the whole domain, not figures from Google Workspace Marketplace. As of October 2026. ↩
