Who uses DesignRush
Agencies in fields such as software, app development, design and marketing that want to be listed and ranked, and businesses looking to hire them. Only clients who worked directly with an agency can review it, using their real name and accurate contact details.
Claim your profile
- New agencies start at the DesignRush agency submission form and create an account (first and last name, email, phone number, password).
- DesignRush says it only accepts agencies it considers legitimate and professional, judging by website, portfolio, online reputation and reviews before a profile is published.
- For account problems, use the Contact Us form and choose the "Account issues" inquiry type; the pages we checked do not describe a claim procedure for an existing listing.
- Once in your account, email and contact details are edited under Profile, User information, and the website and headquarters address from the My Agency page.
Replying to reviews
The DesignRush pages we checked do not describe how an agency posts a public reply to a review. Its FAQ says a negative review that breaks the guidelines can be reported, and that valid negative feedback should be used to improve and answered professionally.
- Agencies can encourage clients to leave reviews, but must not do anything that influences or manipulates the review process.
- To get a review, an agency can send a client to its profile, use the Request a Review form in the My Agency section, or send DesignRush the client's name and business email so the team can reach out.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Only clients who worked directly with the agency may review, using their real name and accurate contact details so DesignRush can verify the relationship.
- DesignRush uses monitoring tools to spot unusual review patterns or suspicious activity and may send periodic verification requests to reviewers and agencies.
- Fake reviews are not tolerated: agencies may not submit them directly or through third parties, for example by creating false accounts or asking people who never used their services for feedback. Reviews found to be fake are removed.
- Reviews should be truthful, detailed, balanced and objective, covering things like the services provided, communication and whether deadlines were met.
- Consequences for violations can include review removal, temporary or permanent suspension of the reviewer or agency, and loss of rankings, badges or featured listings.
Reporting a review
DesignRush's own process, step by step.
- Email reviews@designrush.com to report abuse or a suspicious review, with detailed information and documentation.
- DesignRush aims to acknowledge a report within 7 business days and finish the investigation within 14 business days, where possible.
- During an investigation it may contact both the reviewer and the agency for verification.
- Possible outcomes are publishing the review with the appropriate tag, editing it for grammar only, or removing it if it violates the guidelines.
Tips
- Invite real clients to review and let them write freely; never write reviews yourself or through others.
- Keep the profile complete and current (description, portfolio projects, team members, services); DesignRush says a 100% complete profile helps ranking and recommends updating at least quarterly.
- Include supporting documentation when you report a review you believe is fake.

About the numbers
- AI citations: the share of answers from AI assistants that cite a page on designrush.com, out of 23,227 answers in the last 90 days, to questions about the businesses in our directory ("what do customers say about ...") and to category questions ("best dentist in ..."). Search-result and help pages on a review site are not counted. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Cited by AI, by industry: for each industry (a directory category, or the national brands filed under an industry such as e-commerce), the share of AI answers about businesses in that industry that cite a page on designrush.com; n is the number of answers in that industry (last 90 days; only industries with at least 20 answers). As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Has a profile, by industry: the share of the businesses we checked in each industry that have a DesignRush profile; n is the number of businesses checked in that industry. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
