Who uses CarWise
Collision repair, auto body, dent, and auto glass shops in the CarWise network, and drivers comparing shops after an accident. Shop pages show ratings for repair quality, customer service, and likelihood to recommend, plus whether the customer was kept informed and the car was ready on time.

- CarWise says not every repair shop is listed; it shows shops in its network, and participating locations can change over time.
- The CarWise pages we checked do not describe how a shop claims or edits its listing. Its link for shop owners leads to CCC's consumer engagement products for collision repairers.
- CarWise lists a customer support phone line on its contact page for questions.
Replying to reviews
The CarWise pages we checked do not describe a way for shops to reply publicly to reviews, and the shop pages we read showed no business replies.
- CCC's product pages for repair shops describe review management tools for replying to reviews across sites from one dashboard, but they do not say that replies appear on CarWise.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- CarWise collects reviews through customer satisfaction surveys sent by text or email after eligible repairs; you cannot write a review without receiving a survey.
- CarWise says its reviews come from vehicle owners following completed repairs at participating shops and are tied to real repair experiences.
- Ratings may cover repair quality, customer service, communication, and overall satisfaction.
- CarWise's terms forbid abusive, obscene, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content, private or confidential information, and clearly false or misleading content.
- Users may not impersonate anyone, use a false email address, or mislead about where content came from.
- CCC reserves the right to decide whether content complies with its terms and to remove it without notice, and says it does not endorse or verify user content.
Reporting a review
CarWise's own process, step by step.
- The CarWise pages we checked do not describe a way for shops to report or dispute a review.
- The only listed channel is CarWise customer support by phone, as shown on its contact page.
Tips
- Make sure customers know a short survey will follow the repair, since that is how CarWise reviews are collected.
- Keep customers informed during the repair and deliver on time; CarWise shows both answers on every review.
- Follow up quickly on any low survey score while the customer is still in touch with the shop.
