Replying to reviews
Booksy lets businesses respond publicly to client reviews from their Booksy Biz account. Booksy's help center advises working with the client first and then replying publicly with the steps taken to put things right. The exact in-app steps were not available from the pages reviewed.
- Booksy's own guidance suggests replying within 24 to 48 hours.
- Keep replies short and civil, do not argue facts or ask questions in public, and move detail to a private channel such as phone or email.
- Booksy Biz offers 24/7 live chat support: on web or tablet through the question mark icon and Support, and in the mobile app through Profile, Settings, Help Center, Help Chat.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Only clients who booked and completed a service through Booksy can leave a review.
- Clients can edit their review for up to 30 days after posting it and delete it at any time.
- Booksy states it does not remove reviews just because they describe a negative experience.
- Reviews with personal and derogatory remarks against an individual, profanity, threats, or hateful speech are removed.
- If a business marks a client as a no-show within 30 minutes of the appointment, the automatic review request is canceled.
Reporting a review
Booksy's own process, step by step.
- Booksy's help article on removing a client's review states that reviews are removed only for Terms of Service violations, such as discriminatory or abusive language, threats of violence, or references to illegal activity, and that the users who posted them are removed too.
- Booksy lists 24/7 live chat and email (info.us@booksy.com in the US) as its support channels; a separate documented review-report form was not found.
Tips
- Personalize each reply: use the reviewer's name, mention details of the visit, and sign with your name or initials.
- Apologize for the client's experience where appropriate without accepting blame for things outside your control.
- Fix the problem first if you can, then mention the fix in your reply.
- Do not argue or ask questions in public; invite the client to talk privately.
- Wait until you are calm before writing a response.

About the numbers
- AI citations: the share of answers from AI assistants that cite a page on booksy.com, out of 23,227 answers in the last 90 days, to questions about the businesses in our directory ("what do customers say about ...") and to category questions ("best dentist in ..."). Search-result and help pages on a review site are not counted. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Cited by AI, by industry: for each industry (a directory category, or the national brands filed under an industry such as e-commerce), the share of AI answers about businesses in that industry that cite a page on booksy.com; n is the number of answers in that industry (last 90 days; only industries with at least 20 answers). As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Site reach: the estimated monthly organic search visits to booksy.com (DataForSEO Labs) and its Domain Rating (Ahrefs, 0 to 100). These are third-party estimates for the whole domain, not figures from Booksy. As of October 2026. ↩
