Who uses Angi
Home service professionals who want leads from homeowners, and homeowners who hire and review them.
Claim your profile
- Use the Angi for Pros sign-up form and enter the service offered, ZIP code, the business owner's name, business name (your own name works if you have no business name), and a mobile number.
- Download the Angi for Pros app and turn on notifications.
- Collect reviews: Angi suggests requesting 3 or more from past customers and importing up to five from a Google Business Profile.
- Complete the profile with a business description, logo and project photos, and keep business hours current.
Replying to reviews
In the Angi for Pros app, open the Reviews tab, tap See reviews, choose a review, tap Add a Comment, type the comment and tap Save. On the web, log in to the business account, hover over Reviews and click All reviews, use the Comment on this review link shown below the project details, type the comment and click Add Your Comments.
- A comment may show as pending until a member of Angi's team reviews it; it is posted after that review.
- Angi encourages pros to respond to their reviews, including negative ones, and mentions thanking customers, giving your perspective, or offering to correct a mistake.
- For a negative review, Angi suggests keeping the response positive and professional, apologizing if needed, and offering to work with the homeowner toward a resolution.
- Editing or removing a negative review is usually up to the consumer who posted it; if the pro fixes the problem, Angi suggests asking the consumer to revise the review.
Review rules
In our own words. The official page is the rule that applies.
- Reviews should be family-friendly (no profanity, obscenity, harassment, sexually explicit language or hate speech) and their statements should be accurate.
- Reviews should be relevant to the work requested and should not comment on other service professionals.
- Reviewers should not publicize their own or other people's private information.
- Angi works to make sure reviews come from real customers, not spam bots, family members, employees or competitors. Companies may not rate themselves, reviewers must confirm they are not affiliated or competing with the company, and anonymous reviews are not accepted.
- Angi states it may refuse to post or remove any review at its sole discretion.
- A newly submitted review usually appears within 24-48 hours; reviews flagged for verification or as possible duplicates are investigated first.
- If a dispute arises between a consumer and a professional, the rating may stay pending until it is resolved.
Reporting a review
Angi's own process, step by step.
- Angi says a team can help investigate certain reviews to make sure they meet its review requirements; the help article does not define which reviews qualify.
- If you believe a negative review resulted from an error on Angi's part, start a chat during business hours or call support.
- Angi Customer Care: (877) 947-3639; live chat Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern.
- For questions about the status of a specific review, start a chat during business hours.
Tips
- Respond to both positive and negative reviews, and do it promptly.
- Move detailed problem-solving offline by offering an email address or phone number.
- Ask every new customer for a review, using your personal review link or the request tools in the Angi for Pros app or site.
- Keep replies factual and professional, because future customers read them.

About the numbers
- AI citations: the share of answers from AI assistants that cite a page on angi.com, out of 23,227 answers in the last 90 days, to questions about the businesses in our directory ("what do customers say about ...") and to category questions ("best dentist in ..."). Search-result and help pages on a review site are not counted. As of October 30, 2026. ↩
- Cited by AI, by industry: for each industry (a directory category, or the national brands filed under an industry such as e-commerce), the share of AI answers about businesses in that industry that cite a page on angi.com; n is the number of answers in that industry (last 90 days; only industries with at least 20 answers). As of October 30, 2026. ↩
